How to: Rename a hard drive.
Solution:
Open the 'My Computer' icon. Select the appropriate hard drive. Select the 'File' menu and select 'Properties'. Type a new name in the 'Label' box.
1) Double-click the 'My Computer' icon. (The 'My Computer' window appears.)
2) Select the appropriate hard drive icon.
3) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Properties'. (The hard drive 'Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) If necessary, click the 'General' tab.
5) Type a new name in the 'Label' box.
6) Click 'Apply'.
7) Click 'OK' to close the hard drive 'Properties' box.
8) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to close the 'My Computer' window.
